PROGRAMME

  • The organizers will be present at 16:00 hours on Thursday June 24.
  • After 16:00 hours the participants will be able to obtain their festival badges, set up their tents, etc.
  • Thursday evening: BALKAN FEAST – DANCE FAVORITES OF THE PAST"
    Conducted by Helen van Bochove.
  • The first lessons will start on Friday, June 25 at 09:30 o'clock. There will be continuous lessons the whole day on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday until 14:00 hours.
  • Friday and Saturday evening: Ball with the teachers and orchestra.
  • Friday and Saturday night after the evening folk dance programmes, we shall meet, talk, sing and dance together until early in the morning at the Balkan Corner.

SALES

  • From Thursday onwards there will be SALE STANDS with folkloristic articles.
  • A CD with music of the dance programme and a DVD with dance programme of the festival, can be ordered during the festival.

ACCOMODATION

  • Near the "de WANMOLEN" there is a camping ground with sanitary facilities, where tents can be set up. The price will be € 5,- per person per night.
  • At the parking place near the festival building there is space for caravans. The price will be € 6.50 per person per night including the use of electricity.
  • There are sleeping-halls in the building. Including the obligatory breakfast the costs will be: € 11.00 per person per night.
  • The participants are expected to bring their own tents, caravans, or sleeping bags and mattresses.
  • "de WANMOLEN" offers the possibility to rent a bed complete with mattress, sheets, blankets and pillow at € 15.00 per night per person.
  • Showers, toilets and dressing rooms are available in the building.

MEALS

The "de WANMOLEN" has a restaurant where you can order simple meals like soup, sandwiches, toast, etc.

Every day there will also be a special fixed menu available at € 10,-

On Saturday night a special Balkan meal will be served at € 15,50.
